Critical Tag Wizard
Move ABM / personalization vendors out of GTM into a consent-gated eager loader.
What it does
Most B2B sites push 6sense, Demandbase, Mutiny, and Marketo through Google Tag Manager. GTM has a 2–4 second bootstrap that delays every tag — by the time those vendors fire, your visitor has already scrolled or bounced.
The Critical Tag Wizard moves selected vendors out of GTM and into Quickload's eager pipeline, gated by your CMP's consent event. They fire pre-paint (typically 100–200ms after consent grants), not after GTM finishes booting.
Steps
- Open Critical Tag Wizard in the per-site sidebar.
- Select your Consent Management Platform. We support OneTrust, Cookiebot, Osano, Iubenda, Usercentrics, Didomi, Ketch, CookieYes, Complianz, TrustArc, Termly, and Generic IAB TCF v2. If you don't have a CMP, choose No CMP.
- Toggle on each vendor you have configured in GTM. Paste each vendor's account ID (e.g.
cm-acme1234for 6sense). - Save. The runtime picks up the new config on the next page load.
- Important: pause the matching tag inside GTM so it doesn't fire twice. The dashboard names the vendor; GTM admins know what tag to disable.
What if I'm wrong?
Use the "Before you publish" sandbox preview to dry-run your changes against a clean copy of your homepage. If anything misfires, you'll see it before customers do.
